Although mostly males, hair loss is experienced both by males and females. Hormonal imbalances and genetic transition (hereditary, the possibility of continuing from generation to generation due to the genetic structure of the family) may be underlying reasons for hair loss.

However, excessive stress, excessive anemia, vitamin, iron-zinc, mineral etc. deficiency, severe periodic problems, severe psychological problems, side effects of some medications may also lead to hair loss.

As hair follicles in the top and forehead are hypersensitive to testosterone hormone, hair loss begins after a certain age. The non sensitive hair follicles in the nape almost never fall except in very special cases.

So this is where Hair Transplant comes. The hair transplantation is transplanting non-sensitive follicles from nape area into the area of need, such as the top of the head. Healthy follicles from the donor area are transplanted one by one by our expert team under local anesthesia in a sterile environment. Since operation is done under local anesthesia, there is no pain experience.

There is a red flake-like scabbing due to blood clotting in the treated area after the operation. The hair should be washed once a day for about 10 days after transplantation which prevents further increase in scabbing. After this 10-day period, most of the scabs come off and the operated area starts to recover.

Firstly, the transplanted hair begins to fall in about 1 month after the operation. However, these are not the follicles but the hair extension coming out of the follicles and there is no need to worry, so this is what is supposed to happen.

For 2-3 months, you don’t see any further change in your hair. With the third month, your new hair starts to grow. Total results are seen in around 6 months. After the sixth month, hair density starts to increase much more clearly each month. Approximately 1 year after the operation, the new hair is completely grown and the patient has satisfying results.
